A journey of creativity
Mary Wauchope (Quigley, ’86) has led a life of adventure after graduating from Seymour.
Commencing a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Ceramics and Glass from the University of South Australia, Mary then travelled to Italy, where she spent time at the Florence Academy of Art, before returning to complete her studies in 1993.
Her passion for travelling, which includes trips to Africa, Europe, Indonesia and around Australia heavily influence her work to this day, with a love of animals and flowers also an ever present theme. Now based at her family-owned business, Glen Ewin Estate, Mary is a renowned flower designer and artist, as well as lending her hand to gin distilling, events and private teaching at WEA adult education.
