The Seymour College Gym Sports program includes fun circuits and activities which aid skill development. The program uses games, music, dance, circus hand apparatus and equipment such as aerial silks, rolla bolla, beam and hoops to keep students physically active all while having lots of fun.

All coaches are highly trained and accredited, and create a fun and safe atmosphere for all participants.

Sophie Cole – Head Coach and Coordinator

Sophie has had long involvement within the gymnastics community, participating in gymnastics and tumbling since age 4, in which she has represented both South Australia and Australia. Her passion for gymnastics was what inspired her love for teaching children, as she commenced her coaching career in 2015.

Sophie has worked at Gymnastics Birthday Parties and has also coached and trained at Adelaide Tumbling Academy for over 5 years. Sophie is an Advanced Gymnastics Coach, accredited with Gymnastic Australia. In further perusal of her love for working with children, Sophie is currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education.

Charlotte Hill – Senior Coach
Charlotte Hill is a dedicated performer in many forms. Starting out in dance and gymnastics at a young age, she then moved on to Musical Theatre and Circus and has been involved in various performances, gigs, workshops and tours. Some of her highlight performances of her career have been performing overseas with Adelaide Youth Theatre and Total Image Dance Company in Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong, Orlando and Universal Studios Orlando. 

Sophie Dawkins – Coach
Sophie has been passionate about acro dance and gymnastics from an early age. Sophie began her gymnastics training at the age of six and since then she has broadened her knowledge and passion at Aeroblitz SA and TK Studios. Sophie learnt from previous Gym Sports Co-ordinator and Head Coach, Brittany Neeb for four years at TK Studios and is now a qualified acro dance instructor, through Acrobatics Arts Australia.

Jessica Gunawan - Junior Coach

The Gym Sports program is structured around a levels system which is used to move students through skills at their own pace and work around goal orientated training.

Classes are open to girls and boys aged 3+, including Senior Aerial for 15-17 year olds and Adults Aerial for those 18+.
