Birthday parties

A fun and trouble-free way to celebrate your child’s special day!

Our birthday parties are conducted in the safety of our onsite Sports Centre where children of all abilities, aged 5 – 12 years, are welcome to spend an hour and a half on our quality sports equipment and play games.

Our fun, friendly and qualified instructors will be present to ensure your child has a fantastic and memorable birthday. A photograph of the party is taken on the day and emailed to the parents. Parents will love these parties too, as all you need worry about is the party food and birthday cake, leave the entertainment to us! (NB: catering can also be arranged).

Community Learning Forums

The Seymour College Community Learning Forums provide an interesting, topical and dynamic program of adult learning opportunities. On offer is a series of workshops and presentations delivered by local, national and international experts on a range of relevant issues. Areas of focus include the health and wellbeing of young people, and issues of justice and equity in our nation and world.

Learning Forums are advertised through Seymour News and on Facebook.

Seymour Gymnastics

The Seymour Gymnastics Program includes fun circuits and activities which aid skill development. The program uses games, music and dance, and hand apparatus such as ribbons, balls and hoops to keep the gymnasts physically and mentally stimulated. All coaches are highly trained and accredited, and create a fun and safe atmosphere for all participants. The program is structured around a levels system which is suited to the gymnast’s capability. Each gymnast is tested at the end of each term and moved through the levels accordingly. Certificates are awarded mid-year and at the end of the year.

Topics have included Health and Wellbeing, Nutrition, IT for early learners, Academic Differentiation and Individual Learning Plans.

The Partnerships with Parents workshops are advertised through Seymour News.

Modern Greek

Seymour is pleased to host a community-based, after-school hours language and culture program for Modern Greek, to students of Greek background and of primary school age. The program will be offered every Monday from 4.00pm to 6.00pm during term time, and is open to students from Seymour and beyond. The program is designed to improve cultural and linguistic knowledge and understanding while affirming the Greek heritage of its students within our multicultural Australian context.
