At Seymour, we know students learn many of their most profound and lasting lessons in co-curricular activities, which is why we focus on providing diverse opportunities for our students.
Girls have the opportunity to win with grace and lose with dignity, work productively with others and be part of a team, master a skill, enjoy a personal best or dig deep to find ways to overcome a hurdle, tackle a challenging musical piece, celebrate a success and take critical advice.
The skills gained are not only practical. They also learn self-discipline, teamwork and values that can be drawn upon throughout their lives.
At Seymour we provide boundless opportunities for athletes at every level and we are proud of our particularly high participation rate across a wide range of sports, Our girls, throughout their time at the College, love being part of the Seymour team, discovering new passions and creating lifelong friendships, supported by our open spaces, world-class facilities and dedicated and specialist coaching staff.

Co-curricular Performance at Seymour is a vibrant and active community, where students from Prep to Year 12 are provided with a diverse range of enjoyable activities in Performing Arts. With more than twenty ensembles and activities across the college, all students are welcomed regardless of their age, ability or expertise.
Our performances, ranging from lunch time concerts and assemblies to Theatre productions and tours, are a valued and vital part of College life.

Each of our programs provide important opportunities for enhancing knowledge, skills, friendships and confidence. Participation with like-minded friends, as well as the opportunity to forge new relationships, are a key part of co-curricular participation. Equally, developing skills and an appreciation of making a commitment to a group and learning are important aspects of being a member of the Seymour community.
