New Performing Arts Centre
The Seymour Challenge Campaign

Starry Starry Night
A glittering gala event to raise funds for the new Performing Arts Centre
There is no doubt that the new Performing Arts Centre is an exciting project! Situated at the heart of the College, this new facility will not only provide opportunities for our whole community to gather for meetings, information evenings, special guest speakers and social functions, it will also provide for all current and future students contemporary and world-class facilities to support our core and specialist Music and Drama programs.
The teaching and learning spaces will meet a multitude of immediate and longer-term needs. New and purpose-built facilities will enhance the work of class groups, ensembles, individuals, performance cast and crew and so on.
We are also delighted that by refurbishing our Sports Centre with, amongst other things, improved acoustics and staging, the entire College - from our Preps to our Year 12s - will soon be able to come together to celebrate, worship, learn and grow, as one close community.
Importantly, parents and Old Collegians will always feel welcome to join in our regular student gatherings and celebrations, with availability of space no longer being an issue.
The Performing Arts Centre is one of the most significant building developments in the College's history.
Our new facility will cost in the vicinity of $5.5 million and, while the College will need to borrow funds for this project, our goal is to raise $1.3 million towards the cost of this important addition to Seymour's facilities.
