Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia, is a small safe city of one million people. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate with a friendly cosmopolitan lifestyle. Adelaide is often referred to as Australia's education capital, enjoying a long history in international education and a tradition of excellence.

Adelaide is within easy flying distance of Australia's neighbouring Asian countries. Seymour College is well served by public transport and is approximately 15 minutes from the city.

Seymour College offers international students an educational experience which incorporates acquisition of English language skills and purpose orientated learning. The school is very much concerned with the general well-being of the student studying away from home and provides support networks and additional experiences to make their stay both meaningful and successful. International students are a valued part of the general school population.

Many of the College's international students have become significant leaders in their chosen careers and fields of endeavour and all have had the benefit of one of the best educations available.

The College welcomes international students from China, Europe, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, North America and South Africa.

Set in spacious and botanic grounds covering 10 hectares, Seymour College has been carefully developed through the years to provide a setting which enhances the abundant academic, social, creative and sporting opportunities available to all girls.

Students are accepted into any year level but the College prefers to accept students as early as possible thus allowing them time to adjust to the Australian lifestyle and its school system, as well as giving them sufficient time to develop their language skills before the rigours of the Year 11 and Year 12 South Australian Certificate of Education.
