The Old Collegians' Association
The PGC/Seymour
College Old Collegians' Association is the link
between the College of today and its former
students. The Association plays an important role
in the continuing development of the College.
Fundraisers enable the Old Collegians' Association
to support the College in many ways. We are particularly proud to commit to donating $150 000 towards the new Performing Arts Centre.
The Association has
active branches in the Mid North and South East of
South Australia, Riverland and Fleurieu Peninsula. The activities of these branches
enable members to renew friendships and to maintain
their ties with the College.
Whilst it was a
personal experience for each Old Collegian when she
attended PGC/Seymour College, if you were to ask
any of them what remains foremost in their memory
of their years spent at the College, you can be
sure that each answer would highlight:
- the importance
of a good education under the guidance of staff
who as educators and people influenced their
lives;
- the traditional
aspects of the College - the sense of belonging
experienced through the Clan system;
- the Black Watch
uniform which continues to be admired by the
wider community;
- Sports Day with
its Scottish flavour;
- the school
psalm and school song, "Come let us sing of a
school"; and
- the beautiful
grounds.
Whilst the College
continues to develop and progress, these special
qualities still remain to be enjoyed by today's
students, among them the daughters and
granddaughters of Old Collegians.
The members of the
Old Collegians' Association continue to demonstrate
their enthusiastic interest in Seymour College
because not only are they appreciative of the
positive influence it had on their lives, but they
also wish to ensure it continues to offer an
education, second to none, for successive
generations of students.

Association please contact the President, Annie Howard, at oca@seymour.sa.edu.au.
