It's a great learning environment with open teachers

Orientation

Informal orientation sessions are arranged by the Admissions Office upon request. These take the form of a day visit into the class of the appropriate age level.

In Term 4, a formal Orientation Day for Years 1 to 5 students is conducted where students attend school for the morning in the class group identified for the following year. This gives the new students a chance to meet their new peers and become familiar with the school environment, prior to their official commencement at Seymour.

Parents accompany their daughters for a welcoming Assembly on Orientation Day and then share morning tea with the Head of Junior School and some key staff.

Preparatory and Reception Orientation and Play days are organised separately to allow future students more time to become familiar with school routines and procedures.
