Reunions and events

Reunions
School reunions offer an opportunity for Old Collegians to return to their old school to rekindle and renew friendships with old schoolmates and to share with our alumnus the growth and changes that have occurred in the College.
Reunions are organised each year for those alumni who left 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years ago. These events vary but usually involve the opportunity for Old Collegians to take a tour of their school followed by a chance to catch up with school friends.
The Emerald Reunion is a very special event held annually for those who left PGC between 51 and 60 years ago. The Emerald Reunion is so named not only because the colour reminds us of the lushness of our campus, but also because the emerald is an important anniversary falling on the 55th year. Further, just as an emerald is a valuable and precious stone, so too are the past students of PGC/ Seymour.
The interstate reunion program includes biennial events in NSW (Sydney), Victoria (Melbourne), ACT (Canberra) and Queensland (Brisbane), as well as reunions in WA (Perth), NT (Darwin) and Tasmania (Hobart). The Principal and Development staff enjoy travelling to these locations to meet Old Collegians and share a meal with them.
From time to time reunions are also held overseas. The College hopes to again be able to host other overseas reunions depending on the interest of our "expat" alumni.
The reunion program is coordinated by the Development Office, with assistance from alumni volunteers who research Old Collegians and their whereabouts, and plan each event.
